"Yeah I'll call him and tell him I'll take him up on the offer tommorrow, hang on I'll be right back." Charlie got up and grabbed the phone. He dialed Don's number and waited for him to answer, he had gone into the bathroom so Bree couldn't hear there conversation.

Bree had nodded and sat up so he could get up. While Charlie was on the phone with Don, Bree looked at a few pictures that were hanging on the walls, or sitting on bookshelves. She smiled at a picture that was of Don and Charlie when they were younger.
)(I am just gonna post as Don on the phone right here. Instead of switching usernames just to post it.)(
Don answered his phone on the fourth ring. "Don Eppes..." He smiled when he heard Charlie. "Hey little brother....Yeah...I think Kisa wants to kick it here too...Yeah we can just get together some other time. I mean Bree is probably still a little shaken by the ordeal, and Kisa hates storms." Don listened to what Charlie was saying.

"Allright, you know I think that what you said earlier before the whole ordeal might come true. By big bro." Charlie waited to see if Don said anything else before hanging up.

Don chuckled. "Go get her Charlie...If you run into any trouble, let me know...I'll bash some heads. Talk to you later." Then Don hung up.
Back downstairs in the living room, Bree stood at a window, watching the rain. It was coming down in sheets. She was hugging herself as she watched a few drops trickle down the window. Lifting one hand, an index finger traced along with one of the drops.

Charlie hung up and laid the phone down on the counter. He walked down stairs and grabbed Bree from behind, kissing her ear. He put his hands on the insides of her thighs and then waited to see what she would do. He looked out the window with his dark eyes and layed his head on top f hers.

She smiled at the feel of his arms around her, then blushed when his hands moved to the inside of her thighs, though she said nothing about it, and made no attempt to move away from him. Leaning her body against him, she sighed. "Ever wonder why rain is so calming?" Earlier the thunder had startled her, reminding her too much of the gun shot. But now watching the rain, and being in his arms, she felt much more at ease.

"I always thought it was the sound, and not numbers, for once." He smiled as she leaned against him and squeezed her thighs lightly. He looked at the rain and sighed, He didn't want to let her go, he didn't want her to get attacked agian. He knew he should have walked her back to her dorm. For a genius he could be stupid. He took a deep breathe and smiled at the smell of her ahir.

Bree did not blame Charlie at all for what had happened to her. She didn't blame anyone but that Chris guy. She knew that if Charlie had known that she was in danger before it happened, he would not have let her go alone. She laughed lightly, "I feel silly....part of me never wants to go out side again. The scared part. But the rational part tells me that if I let my fear control me, then he won...even though he is probably meeting his new 'girlfriend' by now." That was true, she was scared, and it would probably stay with her forever.

"Iwon't ever let that happen to you ever agian. I'm not going into work tommorow. Your rationalty is right, you can't let fear control you, the only thing to fear is fear itself. You shouldn't feel silly because I'm split between rationality and fear too. I've had somthing like this happen to me too, I know as long as I have Don I'll be okay. You have to know as long as you have me, you'll be okay. My fear doesn't want me to ever let you leave these arms, my rationalty tells me that if I don't let you leave, you'll never get over your own fear," He looked at the windowwith a puzzled look on his face. Not only had this inccident made him afraid of losing her, it reminded him of his past. He tried to shake the memory of being targeted by the Mafia, but just couldn't. He looked at Bree and hoped it would soon go away. He slid his hands further up her thighs so that they were just on her thighs, and close to where he wanted them to be.

She listened quietly, hearing him talk about his fears. When he stated that his one fear did not want him to let her leave his arms she turned to face him. When he had finished talking, telling her that she did not have to worry, she had him to keep her safe, Bree leaned in, placing a soft kiss to his lips. It was brief, but sweet. Her words were almost a whisper when she spoke. "I think I am falling in love. Is that rational?"

"I think it is, because the same is happening to me." Being this pen to someone other than Don was odd for Charlie. He looked into her eyes and then at tteh floor. He had liked how they had been standing, but was smiling from the kiss.

She nuzzled him, and then gently took hold of his hand. "c'mon..." Gently she lead him to the couch. "you go ahead and get comfortable first..when you are comfy, I will curl up beside you." She gave him that angelic smile, her fingers gently squeezing his.

Charlie chuckled and then miled half way. He sat on the couch and got very comfortable. He looked at her, his dark bron eyes very soft. "Allright come on." He waited to see what she was going to do.

She soon crawled beside him, cuddling close. She had slid her arms around his middle, resting her head on his shoulder. She felt so safe and so comfortable where she was, that within a few short moments, Bree had fallen asleep. Her day had been so busy, and so exhausting that she could not help it.

Charlie smiled and held on to her as she fell asleep, comforting her. He soon also fell asleep.
An hour later
Charlie was waoken up by a car door slamming. He sson realized his father was home. He tried to wake Bree up. "My dad's homw. We best migrate to my room, but wait until he comes in and you meet each other first."
