Charlie offered a smile and looked at her with a sigh. He looked up to the sky and then back down to the ground. He had by this time forgotten his reason for even being at the park and was really not worried about it. He turned to her and went to speak and then stopped, unsure of what to say.

She turned, starting to walk, pausing to wait for him some. She felt like an elementary school girl who is having her first official boyfriend. It was awkward and she felt so shy. Once again she bit onto her lip and tried to think of something to say. She was an adult, she should not feel this shy around him.

Charlie walked next to her. He was unsure of what to say, he'd never really done this before. He looked at the ground and then over to her and smiled. It wasn't that he was shy, just unsure of what to say.

She was tempted to reach over to take his hand, but was hesitant because she was unsure of how he would react to that.

Charlie looked over at her, an unsure lok on his face. He glanced down to ehr hand and then back up to her with a smile. He realized that his was the first time in a while, well ever, that his mind wasn't on numbers.

Finally deciding that since she had been brave enough to tell him her feelings, then she could be brave enough to take his hand. Reaching over, she tentatively started to take hold of his hand, first only sliding her fingers against his palm.

Charlie looked down at her hand and smiled. He opened his hand slightly, giving hers more room. He looked around and sighed, "One day I am truly going to have to get my liscense."

She shrugged some. "I think they are over rated. Especially when there are so many other more important things to think about." That went to show that Bree did not have hers either. "Besides...sometimes walking can be fun. It is better for the environment, healthier for you, and at times depending on the time of day and who you are with, it can be romantic." Her fingers soon slipped down his hand to entwine with his own fingers. She laughed lightly. "This one girl who used to be my babysitter a few years ago said that the first time she had been kissed by a boy was when they were walking home form a birthday party of a friend of hers. She said it was all awkward, and he missed completely, but then so did she. She had said that she wasn't exactly sure what it was, one minute they were wlking and talking about the girl who spilled punch on herself, and the next he was infront of her trying to kiss her." Bree laughed again. "She said he had even went as far as to asking her if he could. When she asked him why he asked, he said it was because he did not want her hitting him." She shook her head. To this day I really don't know why she told me all of that." More of a laugh. "Probably for the same reason I told you...whatever that may be."

Charlie smiled feeling her hand entertwine with his. He listened to the story with a slight laugh every once in a while. "Maybe it was hint, telling you not to walk home with boys from birthday parties." He smiled and looked over at her. "Truly I have never had a babysitter, so I've never had to listen to strange stories. Never needed one, and even if I did it probably just would of been Don who told me the stories anyway." He smiled and looked over at her licking his lips, he then turned back to the area in front of him with a chuckle.

She laughed and nodded. "Perhaps....On that note I should point out about a few parties that we are missing." She was teasing a bit, pointing out the good and the bad aspects of that.
Soon enough Bree and Charlie were at the building her dorm room was in. Stopping at the main door, she was unsure if he wanted to go all the way to her exact room, or not, so she paused here to let him make a choice. "Again I am sorry for the sudden bomb I dropped on you..." She meant about what she had said, and any trouble she may have caused him in anyway.

Charlie laughed aat her comment and looked at her, his sad eyes watching her with an almost anticipation. He went into a short thought, he was really going to have to talk to Don after this.
As they made it to the dorm building he opened the dorm and ushered her inside, he'd most likely be going over to hi office afterwards anyway. He didn't mind spending the extra time with her. Uponhearing her he merely nodded and said, "Life has it's ups and downs, in my opnion this is defiantly an up." He nodded again and looked over to her.

A slow nod as she listened to his words, walking toward the elevator with him. Yes, the building had an elevator. It was for the students who we unable to use the stairs, or for those lazy few who were too tired to walk all the way up. Stepping inside, she pressed the button for the floor she was on. "I believe that to be true. If I hadn't had my own experiences, I would have said you were lying." She laughed some.

He stepped inside the elevator with her. A smile taking over his usually sad features. He watched her tentavily, then looked forward again. He scanned the elevator with his eyes. "I never quite ot the point of the elevators in the dorm buildings." He shrugged and looked back at her.

"Oh, they are wonderful...especially when you have a bag full of school books, and your back is killing you as well as your feet. And the thought of climbing stairs makes you want to just curl up and die." She laughed, seeming a little bit nervous. She bit onto her bottom lip gently. She was thinking of kissing him again, like she had in his office that one day, but she was worried to.
