Don sighed a moment as he thought. "Well...we could either just let him have a few days to mourn...or we can go and try to find him a new friend before we go home tonight. That is up to you....I mean...He needs to grieve, we all do. Then it will make it all the more better when we do introduce a new friend if we ever do." Don watched the road as he drove.

"Well, what kind of dog where you thinking of? A Rottie? Because I saw one at the Animal Shelter the other day and it's name is Jake. He seems to only like male human and animals." Kisa replied as she drapped her arms over his shoulder from the backseat....

He nodded slowly. "Sure...a rottie would be nice." He had turned down the road to go to the cemetery for pets.

"Ok...After the funeral for Anubis, we'll go back and check him out to see if you like him. I already a dog, you need one. Because if Anubis hadn't been shot, and we got married, Anubis would have become your's." Kisa replied, a little bit more cheerful than before....

Colby had been behind Kisa and Don in his own car. He followed them and thought about the events. He hoped Doug died, or at least lost something, from that beating. The bastard deserved it.

Don nodded some, just listening. He would let her ramble on if that was what she needed. Don himself needed to just remain quiet, or else he would start shouting and cussing at everyone and everything.

Charlie ran out the door and was soon sitting next to Bree, hands around her shoulders. He looked at her hand at was suprised he hadn't already noticed. "Are you okay, can I do anything?"

She was silent as she shook her head. Her chin was resting on her kneecaps. After a few more moments of staring at the sidewalk, she spoke. "You should go with them....it is only right." Her voice was barely above a whisper, so many thoughts racing through her mind.

"I'm not leaving here without you, if I go you go." Charlie knew why she was so upset. She thought it was her fault. "You now this isn't your fault. Just because you were nice to the guy doesn't mean you liked him, that guy just doesn't understand.Your that way to everyone, nice I mean."

She shook her head. She did not think anyone wanted her there. Besides, technically she was not one of them. hearing Charlie say it wasn't her fault her bottom lip quivered. "Isn't it?" Turning her gaze to him, those eyes dull. "If I hadn't even been friendly with him, this never would have happened....Anubis would be alive, everyone would be happy...Actually....if I had never came to CalSci everyone's lives would have been better off." She turned her gaze away. "Anubis would be alive and running around chasing more bad guys, Kisa would be happy, Don would be happy....Colby and Devon...Devon would not have been attacked..." She was letting it out. It was just too much for her to keep inside any more. It was hurting too much.

"That's not true. My life wouldn't be better. I wouldn't ahve a great student that trys in my class, a beautiful girlfriend, and a girl who actually likes me. Bree, I don't get close to girls, yoru the first girl I've ever brought to the house."

Her forehead was lowered to where her chin had been, arms tightening on her legs. Her shoulders started to tremble lightly from her silent crying. She still felt so horrible about it all. It was like back at the house. Part of her felt so guilty, the rational part told her it was not her fault. But she did not know which one to believe.

Chrlie put his arms around her and hugged her from where he was. "Listen to the rationality, it's always right." He knew that she most likely felt split between that, like everyone did.

After what seemed like hours, those knees dropped from her hold, her frame turned slightly towards him, her arms wrapping around his middle. She buried her eyes in his chest and sighed heavily. She was forcing herself to listen to reason. But it was hard.
